What is so fascinating about RACE-4-KIDS?
It’s in the mix: the combination of racing and charity in conjunction with a lot of fun and the knowledge to do a good thing at the same time is what makes RACE-4-KIDS so special.
Since 2008, RACE-4-KIDS helps less fortunate kids and families in Germany and Austria. Beneficiaries are the »Drachenkinder« (Radio 7) and the organization »Stunde des Herzens«.
Jasmin Rubatto and Timo Scheider – the initiators of RACE-4-KIDS – are in constant personal contact with the kids and their families and ensure that the raised money gets to where it is needed most.
RACE-4-KIDS also fascinates at top levels. In November 2009, the outstanding concept of RACE-4-KIDS was awarded by the German ex-president Horst Köhler in the context of the initiative »Land der Ideen«.
Concrete help
Thanks to the money raised, we can finance helpful therapies, for example a music therapy for little Josua or a dolphin therapy for the young Alessia May, none of which their health insurance pays for.
Further, we help accomplish concrete tasks, which make every day life easier. One example is the remodeling of a bathroom to make it wheelchair accessible or the financing of a little family vacation.
With the money raised at this coming RACE-4-KIDS we would like to finance a dolphin therapy for Larissa – besides other things.
